FAQ

Straight answers.

No fine print, no marketing fog. Here's what shoppers actually ask us.

Q

Do commissions affect the scores?

A

No. Full stop.

Q

Is DealRanks free?

Is DealRanks free?
Yes. Every score, verdict, and deal page — free, no account needed. When you buy through some of our links, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay never changes.
How does DealRanks make money?
Affiliate commissions, disclosed up front. Buy through one of our links and the retailer pays us a small cut — your price stays the same. No subscriptions, no paywall, no selling your data. That's the whole model.
Do commissions affect the scores?
No. Full stop. Commission rates never touch the score, the verdict, or the order deals appear in. A deal ranks high because the evidence says so — that's the whole point of the site.
What does the score mean?
It’s a 1 to 10 answer to one question: is this worth buying at this price, right now? A 9 means act now. A 4 means the ‘sale’ isn’t one. See exactly what goes into the number.
What do BUY NOW, WAIT, and SKIP mean?
BUY NOW: the evidence says this is the price to beat. WAIT: it's been cheaper — patience will probably pay. SKIP: the 'deal' is marketing, keep your money. Each verdict comes with the reasoning, right on the deal page.
Who picks the deals?
Our systems scan supported stores around the clock, and the community tips us off to what they spot. Every deal — found or submitted — gets the same price check and the same scoring before it appears. If the price isn't real, it never reaches the feed.
Do I need an account?
No. The feed and every deal page are open to everyone. Sign in with Google only if you want to save deals, vote, comment, or submit.
Why does a deal say "May be expired"?
Deals die fast — prices change, stock runs out, codes stop working. When one goes stale, we mark it instead of letting you find out at checkout.
Do votes change the Rank?
No. Votes are there for the community — they help other shoppers spot what's worth a look. The Rank is scored separately, from price and product proof, so a popular deal still has to earn its number.
How do I submit a deal?
Sign in with Google, paste the link, tell us why it’s a deal. A human reviews it, we check the price is real, and if it holds up it’s published with your name on it. How submissions work.
Is there a mobile app?
Coming soon. The site works great on your phone in the meantime.

Still curious

The fastest answer is the feed itself.

Open any deal and look at the score, the verdict, and the evidence behind both.
